They are a beautiful bird. And can make great hand tamed pets to!!! My brother has a green grey one.

yeah he was really nice we ended up spending hours talking to him the few times we went over... does anyone know how to stop the male plucking himself?

Im not 100% sure on the diet before but i know that both of them will only eat sunflower seeds but they love their greens I ve been feeding them peachface mix mixed with wild bird mix is this ok?

Sunflower seed diets can up set there skin. Wild bird seed contains the black sunflower seed. Which are more higher in oil..Try a diet of budgie mix.. with a few sunflowers. Best if you can feed sprouted sunflowers..You will have to change his diet slowly over. Good to hear that they love there vegetables...This is only a start to see what happens...

thanks the peachie mix is practically budgie mix with sunflowers. i brought some wheat seed to sprout wheat grass for them so hopefully
