9 to 5 a couple of days a week would be tops! It'd save me buying all the stock! I now have purchased this week...... 2 ghost knife fish, one elephantnose fish, neon tetras, glowlite tetras, pearl gourami and I swapped 2 of my turks for these two angels, they are Lutinolime redrumps! Aren't they beautiful! I turned up to work yesterday (worked in the birdroom AGAIN! BAD PLACE FOR AN ADDICT!) and said "how much, their mine!" in that exact order. Poor people purchase stock and I buy it all! So much for saving my pennies and stocking up on things like food etc for them all! It'll be a good week next week if I only come home with one animal Got what I want picked out too...... a desert scorpion She's a fiesty one too!

sorry to say amanda but they are not lutino limes. the hen on the left looks like a lime. but the cock on the right is just a normal. lime cocks are a bright lemon colour like platinums. and the cock you have has blue wing tips and lutino or lime don`t show any blue. i have attached a photo of a lutino lime cock for you to see. i hope you did not pay to much for it as it is worth $30 at the most and lime hens are worth $100 at the most. the lutino lime cock is on the left and the hen on the right is a lime opaline.

He's not normal, he's too light to be normal. I didn't pay anything for them, I swapped my olive turk and red fronted yellow turk for them. The pet store was sold them from brisbane as lutino limes. It was dark downstairs when I took the photo's....should have taken them in the sun outside He's as light coloured as that male but with the light blue on his wings. Like the pic in the birdkeeper mag. I'll take another pic of him asleep

ok i relent in my opinion he is a lime cock. i don`t think he is lutino lime because he has blue on his wing tips. if he was carrying lutino there would be no blue on the tips of his wings, as lutino dilutes all colours except lime and platinum as they are in the same genetic family as lutino. i would say he is lime split blue tho because of those blue wing tips.

When I saw them I said they were limes, I was corrected and they said lutino limes. He's most probably only a babe too. Thanks for your tips Oaklee, I'll correct them but what more could you expect from a petstore who purchases off a list! I agree with your comments about buying from breeders, but I love them! and if and when they breed I'll sell the young when they are coloured and find out their true colours. All I truely care about is they are very fat and healthy birds, even though I ruffled their poor feathers Now to save and buy some girls for my boys, more cages and a pair of platinum blues......mmmmm I can dream
