Matt says it looks like a female, but it is hard to tell!
and according to the avicultral society of WA's Price list for 2005
a single bird is worth around $60-$70

WOW Beautiful birds! That is most definately a male pale head rosella, he is of the Nominate race of the Northern parts of east Aus. to help you distinguish the difference here is a pic of my beautiful boy Awnan I didn't know you could get cinnamon king's either! How beautiful are they!!!!! wish we had them up here I have a feeling I'd take them home too!

Thanks to Amanda! I had a pair of these once! They both turned out to be males so I sold them as they tried to kill my other birds, that was before I realised some birds need separate aviaries in breeding season!

I might have to get it sexed by a Vet to find out defantly if it is male or female... just incase I want to get a friend for it... But still not sureif I will keep both... Need more aviaries... ;D

Those birds are all so beautiful. Don't worry about the ratty tail, it should straighten out or molt out .. either way. If you're looking for a cage, I have a 10foot avery doing nothing -twiddle-
