Well, I finally got some new birds this weekend. Matt and Peter have been waitting all day for these photos... ;D

Here are my lovely Opaline Red Rumps... From Matt & Peter... Hope I spelt it right...



Here is the Male Green Ringneck, I got for FREE! ;D



This is my Rosella... of some kind... I also got for FREE! ;D



BUT WAIT THERE IS STILL MORE!!!

Finally here are my new quails...

This is my Cinnanmon Hen...



This is one of the Cinnanmon Males I have. He is paired up with the Cinnanmon Hen (above Photo)...



And these are the other two males I have...A Cinnanmon and a Brown...



I will put some of my silver quail females in with them, when the girls are ready to breed.
So does anyone have any idea what Rosella it is and how much they cost in Pet Shops? And if the Rosella is male or female, I think it is male but I don't know much about Rosella's. The Ringneck and Rosella are in great heath, but the Rosella does have a scruffy tail and a toenail pointing up but other than that... Lovely lively Birds!

I think that is a paleheaded rosella!

I love those cinnamon quail!

Matt says it looks like a female, but it is hard to tell!

and according to the avicultral society of WA's Price list for 2005

a single bird is worth around $60-$70

WOW Beautiful birds! That is most definately a male pale head rosella, he is of the Nominate race of the Northern parts of east Aus. to help you distinguish the difference here is a pic of my beautiful boy Awnan

I didn't know you could get cinnamon king's either! How beautiful are they!!!!! wish we had them up here I have a feeling I'd take them home too!

Thanks to Amanda! I had a pair of these once! They both turned out to be males so I sold them as they tried to kill my other birds, that was before I realised some birds need separate aviaries in breeding season!

I might have to get it sexed by a Vet to find out defantly if it is male or female... just incase I want to get a friend for it... But still not sureif I will keep both... Need more aviaries... ;D

Those birds are all so beautiful. Don't worry about the ratty tail, it should straighten out or molt out .. either way.

Nice birds!! I like the male cinnamon quail! And the ring neck, and the rosella, and the red rumps...... hehehe
