This is our latest edition! Someone dropped him off at our house and left him handing by our front door in a cloth bag! We were wondering why our little dogs were barking at the bag until matt moved it and it moved back! lol Apparently a cat was attacking him, poor little thing should still be with his mum! he is feeding alright, and hoepfully will grow big enough to go to a re-hab centre! He is named after the magpie "pew" from the comics footrot flats!

so do I! There is a wildlife care centre not far from here, which we have taken many birds etc that we have rescued and/or reared that were from the wild, and they release them back! I know with the magpies they wait until they have enough magpies to start their own clan, and keep them together for a year, and then release them as a clan, because individual birds will get killed if released by themselves! We once reared a red-wattle bird (so cute) from an ugly ball of fluf! he was so cute and loved to cuddle! ver smart too! would open the aviary door some how and come inside the house! we gave him to the people when he was old enough, and now he is a free bird and has been for many years (if he is still alive!) I often wonder if I have ever seen him in the wild!
