These guys are my newest additions - a male and female Eclectus Parrots (for those that don't know Males are green, females are red). They are both young still and have been hand reared so are very friendly - especially my little boy Baz! This is Saffy .... And this is Basil ....

Basil suits him and saffy is a great name for a female eclectus. From what I have heard they seem to have settled in to their new home well

Kim - when do you get your boy?? Don't worry about names - when you get him and spend a little time with him you will think of a name that suits him. My two had a few different names before these ones 'fit'!
Matt - hey, yes they are settling in very well actually! It's been great. I'm sure my neighbours think I'm the crazy girl who talks to herself all the time. I am constantly talking to all my pets which I think is a huge part of why they all are happy and settled! Meanwhile they follow me around the house which is cute - however I had a big clean out of my wardrobe today - of which they spent most of the time climbing on top of the discarded clothes pile - and now I have quite a few to wash before I can sell them - hehe! Was cute though - like they were climbing a mountain!

LOL I wish. That was a circus (don't remember the name) that camped around the corner froom us. We asked if we could go & check out the animals. The elephant was friendly & wasn't caged. There was just a rope around the area. He didn't seem to care, he seemed pretty content.
The lions were rolling around in the grass, they were caged! We got pics of the elephant & lions but we didn't actually see any other animals. LOL maybe they were hiding.
I'm waiting to see whether the breeder has male yet. He has 2 eggs which should've hatched a couple of weeks ago so I should here back any time now....hopefully.
