Well I got bitten by the bug ... again ... Here are my 2 newest birds... Any one know what colours they are... and how to tell if they are male or female... But I think both might be male.

They are beautiful!!! The canary bug will bite you hard. The only way to tell the sex is by them whistling or if one lays an egg the lighter one is a yellow frost I'm not sure about the one with the dark patch. They look like fife canaries to me too. Love canaries they are such delicate little birds..... PS They love to bathe very regularly too, mine do all over my floor!

Twirpy was a bit like the one with the patch but with many more markings. I love the yellow frost one hes pretty to!!

They are great looking birds LB. I used to have club rung fife canaries and they can be very hard to come by so I sold them all when I couldnt get new blood! I am not sure if these are fife or not as they dont seem to be club rung so they could be crossed or just not club birds. Hopefully they are a pair as they sometimes breed at this time of the year, especially with the weather we are having lately! Good luck!
