lol well thats where my problems diff, i try all the same things that u do but mines almost 17hrs a day, they only time she stops is to have some food, even then its like hrs of screaming - 5Min's of eating - another 30Min's of screaming - another 5Min's of eating, etc, etc, etc. its never ending and its driving us NUTS! It was bad enough that pearl did it on her own but now my little male is starting 2 copy, luckily for me tho he knows that when the blanket comes out its time 2 stop, pearl keeps going. And now pearls learned the black cocky and redcap noises and she does them VERY loud!

Have you tried a "time out" room...a room that you can close off that no one will enter and you can shut the windows and doors so it's less noise for you? I had to do that with Parsley and Boofie until they learnt that if they started it they would be put in the room by themselves. It might be worth a try

yeah naa i havnt tried that cause theres nowhere that i can take them except maybey the movie room (its nice and dark) but its all new carpet so we dont want the birds in there, at the moment there outside in the alfresco (i just moved them there yesterday cause we finaly got the cafe curtains in) so hopefully that will settle them down abit coz they cant constantly see us

lol well it kinda did and it kinda didnt, this morning was HELL, for us and everyone within 500mtrs of us i recon lol, iv never herd her so loud . BUT me and my bro went into the alfresco today 2 watch movies and everytime pearl started up and cinnamon was good i would go and get him out for awhile and leave pearl in the cage (she didnt like it one bit) once she stop her screaming i would go and put cinnamon back in the cage with her and waited 5mins, if she didnt make a sound in that time i would go and get pearl out 4 awhile. at 1st it didnt seem like it was working but by the end of the day u could tell the diff. now i just need to stick to it and im sure i will win no bird can beat me!

Hey Holly - one thing I found handy with my eckies (cause I love to sleep in on a weekend) is to actually cover them with an old curtain. One of those ones that has the blockout backing - and it covers the WHOLE cage to the ground. It makes is sooooooo dark in their cage I think they don't know if its morning or night. I don't need to use it anymore because they are now in MY routine and will sleep till lunch time on a weekend if I do! I have found that birds just LOVE routine. Perhaps if you can get them in your daily routine and endeavour to spend at least 20 full minutes with just u and them a day you will probably find they settle down a lot. Whoopi is my only one who screams out for attention - and its usually if I am out of view. Can you position them in the house where they can see most activity? Or is there somewhere inside where you can put a cocky stand that can be theirs that they can sit out on for a few hours a day? Weero's are funny little birds and just love cuddles and attention. They like to be a part of the family and have found they aren't so keen to do it from their cage. hmmmm.... I don't think my birds are ruling my life ...do you ... hehe good luck anyway - keep us posted!
