I found a wild female grass parrot, she cant fly properly. it looks as if she has hurt one of her wings, ive had her in the aviary for a couple of weeks and she doesnt seem to be improving. i wanted to release her when she got better, as i dont need any more birds right now, and she belongs in the wild. and i want to concentrate on what ive got. any suggestions as to how i could help her get better??

I suggest continuing to allow her to rest in the aviary and hopefully the wing will come good, sometimes it takes a while for the muscles to heal. Is it possible that the wing was broken? If so it may never heal well enough for release. If you do not want to keep her it may be a good idea to find a local animal carer who can rehabilitate her. Good luck!
