:DMy boyfriend decided to suprise me on Wednesday arv by bringing home a pair of red rumps for me!! I was very suprised! I think they are only normals, and I did want some lutinos or some mutation, but hey it was a sweet thought!! Cant tell him I wanted different! I am happy enought though. I think the normals are quite pretty anyway. The male is gorgeous, and I found out the female can bite WELL!! hehe. I have them in with Kiwi my kaki, and they seem to be doing well together. She is happier having someone to fly around with!! Here is a pic of the rumps!  |

i wouldn't be keeping any other birds in with a pair of red rumps. they have a tendence to attack, and kill other birds that are in their cage.

Yes i am aware of that, I will be removing her as soon as I get another cage for her, I wasnt expecting to get any just yet and had nowhere to put them and they all seem to be doing fine so far. I guess breeding season is the vicious time for most birds though.
