Bourkes are definately a communal bird, great with some nice budgies, finches, doves or tiels. Go great in a large avairy with a couple of pairs or with a pair of neophema parrots APART from elegants. Elegants should be housed in pairs by themselves because at dusk they divebomb other birds in their avairy which will kill other birds!
