Red cap currently rehabilitating at my place....has a broken wing and cant be released.....feral as and OMG..his bite!!!!

Hahaha they sure are, my fella Elmo hangs upside down like a lorikeet, attacks the toys and makes all sorts of noises, hates coming out of the cage but is fine once out. They don't get their full colouring til bout 14 months old or so.

They never seem to lose the wildness, even handraised ones placed in aviaries aften revert back to pacing (flying back and forwards) behaviour. Hope the wing mends ok for him or her.

He's a cutie Renee - shame he can't be released again! I don't know if you gonna keep him or not ... but the Peel Zoo has become a rescue / sanctuary for injured birds so they could probably take him on long term! Check out their website www.peelzoo.com!
