Don't for once think I'm following a trend here! I was actually just going to be babysitting him (pretty sure it's a him... he has a boof head LOL) But his owners called today and asked if I wanted to keep him too. He is comming on Saturday and I have NOWHERE to put him. Talk about puttin more stress into my week..... My folks are comming up on Sunday so I have been like a chook who lost her head cleaning The house is almost finished.... just need to do the floors and take everything out of the computer room and turn it into a guest room LOL So I'll have pics of him when he turns up, apparantly he's been plucking himself again that's what's made them decide to part with him. That and they are going down to Brisvegas for the birth of their upteenth grandchild, unfortunately the second with heart defects. I couldn't say no... they are my faves BTW LOL (keeping the suspense happening here) He is a Crimson Rosella..... Hopefully someone for Dougal to tell off and Awnan to whistle with LOL So now I have a house to clean, a cage to buy/make and guinea cages to make too..... I'm babysitting some of their cavies too Yep.... I'm a glutton for punishment HAHAHAHA

I'll get there Matt, I have almost completely cleaned out the computer room..... now to set it up in the junk room LMAO They will be sending him here in a cage..... a cocky cage. You know those small ones that people use to think were adequate for a cocky to live in That's why I want a big home for him, that and I can fill it with lots of stimuli cause I think that's why he plucks. That and a possible lack of lots of everything in his diet!

Yeah, hopefully with the correct diet and some added stimuli his feathers will come back through.

Well I got the aviary today, Nice big size and well built!! I also got the rosella today and lets just say he has made a royal mess of himself! He has no tail and 95% of his left wing is gone too, He has plucked himself really bad. We will clean the aviary out tomorrow arvo (cavy show on tomorrow) and collect some gum branches for perches and see how he goes!!!

Glad he is with you now Amanda, fingers crossed that the change of diet and environment work wonders for him, it will take time though I imagine.

Looks like a great cage. Poor PJ, hopefully when he settles in and you get him on a good diet he will stop plucking.
