well after a recent visit to the zoo and the farmland animal park in dunsborough , i'm proud to say that my husband who has neva eva bn interested in my animals or birds has fallen in LOVE with SUN CONURES so much so that we've decided to buy a new avairy and get a pr , but i need to know can any other parrots be kept with them ?

I agree they are certainly beautiful and their babies are brilliant handraised, I hope you find a pair real quick coz I know what it's like when you are hanging out to get the birds you want and it seems like forever

we went to the country life farm , its nice there , but i don't like how they have like 30 guinea pigs all in together

Sun conures are best kept in their own aviary as they have a tendancy to be very pugnacious. Safer to buy a single flight for them on their own! They also breed better on their own.

Haven't been to that one yet Nadine. Have you been to Metricup bird park? It's in Metricup just north of Margaret River. There are so many awesome parrots as well as others there.

i love the suns, there one of my favorite birds ;D. im getting another one soon, a female, and once we move (looking at 15acres now) im going to get a couple breeding pairs! there prices are dropping heaps at the moment! theres breeding pairs in the quoka for as little as $500!!
