I have that book also but haven't spent enough time studying it yet to understand the confusing world of genetics. I got mine from Birdworld in Belmont just in case you don't manage to get the one on ebay. It is also available direct from ABK Publications (Australian Birdkeeper magazine), The recommended retail price is $80 plus postage for the hardcover and $70 plus postage for the softcover. www.birdkeeper.com.au/v2/aguideto20.htmlJen

Peter if ya bore me I tell ya....lol.... Yup would like to look at the book....havent seen Wench yet but I asked her to get it for me...Been trying to fathom how..now talking humans here...xx - xy = yudda yudda...I understand the reversal for birds...but then I cant understand how my pied and common grey get pearls....I know this is sex linked..but then how do we get boy pearls....???so i think its cause my pied is split to pearl..so the girl shows but the boys carry the gene....but anyway...will bore everyone else with genetics talk......Sunday... Ta Jen.....If Wench doesnt get it I'll go the other way as you suggest.... Now birdworld...is that the ole Eddie Davis bird place?
