I have these visitng occasionally inthe back yard.
Normally there are a family of them but on this day there was only a lonely boy.

This visitor was keeping an eye on my birds....they were keeping their eye on him to lol

I took this one early morning when I had come home from work. I had to see what all the racket was and found these...

playing peek-a-boo...lol

These red wings were at my parents place in QLD about 2 hrs drive inland from Bundaberg. They were feeding on a tree that was at the end of my parents verandah. I could of touched them if I was a bit closer.

Bit scruffy, going through a moult maybe?

same couple, different year...

I remember when I saw my first wild Red rumps.... they got me truely addicted to birds. I love the Red rumps. Wish I could see some wild Crimson wings! They are beautiful. We have "Bludgers" here, being King parrots and bush turkeys!
And I hear ya about them sulphurs!!!!
