Yeah I like that colour, but Pete should know her colour..... Mr genetics!?! I'm thinking maybe lime blue (pallid) pg 161 of the mutation and genetics book pete. or a form of blue suffused. But she is unlike any skyblue I've ever seen. Pity she learned to dig!

lol Ringies don't seem to have that many fans Eagle lol I don't know what it is about them that draws me to them. Certainly not for their cuddly nature lol. I love their elegantly long tail to.

I'm with you Mark, some are stunning like the violets and blues, cleartails etc but when it comes to their personality and that Voice of theirs.... bit like screaming conures to me, just not my cuppa. Now give me the song of a canary or the twitter of bourkes at 5am, now that's more my style!

I would agree with Amanda on the lime blue colouring, more commonly called a Skyblue lacewing. At least thats what we call ours despite the books saying it is incorrect labeling as all the breeders I know still call them that! I think the term Lime is more confusing than lacewing. So here are a few pictures I took of ours today. I have chucked a couple of other colours for comparison SkyBlue Lacewing (first 3 pictures) Skyblue lacewing at front with normal pastel blue behind Pastel Blue Lacewing I think as opposed to SkyBlue Finally this picture shows (from left to right) the normal blue, the pastel skyblue (on perch), a pastel silver and the pastel blue. If I got any of these wrong please let me know but I think its right. Cheers Jenny

Jen: All birds are very good looking and named correctly!
Tasha: I had a goosd look at your photo's of the "sky blue" you were sold, and I am very sure it is actually a sky blue lacewing hen.
