i got myself 2 pairs of kings today both have just gotten their full adult colours one cock is orange and his hen has 2 yellow patches on her back the other two are normal ill post some pics tomorrow

yeah he is. the orange is very nice on him, i dont think its a defficiancy because they were fed on veg and stuff these two look compatible because their roosting together etc. the other pair i didnt have time to take pics of. the cockbirds wing patches are massive and thank god he and the hen like each other

Good looking birds Sam! I hope you have success this breeding season, I am not sure about the hen being pied, I have an Eclectus cock like that and I have no idea if he is deficient or possibly a split. I guess only breeding will tell!

i got them all for $300 they were all young ones matured in a massive aviary so i thought ill have an odd pair and a normal pair the normal pairs cock has massive wing patches and is a very vibrant scarlet

Thanks Peter anyone got any tips on boosting these guys for the breeding season? im giving them silverbeat, corn, bokchoy and cellery and a slice of apple with dry seed and water thats got calcium in it
