Here is a pic of the male rainbow lorikeet given to me recently, he is in quarantine for 6 weeks until I can be sure he is not infected with PBFD.

Well he is looking a little ratty at present, originally he came from the wild but we cannot re-release them here so looks like I will be keeping him! I was thinking of freeing up an aviary and pairing him up, he took to the fruit and lorikeet mix really well. I am sure he is not ill because his tail is regrowing and his wings are full flighted, plus his down feathers are fine. My guess is he has strained his wing in an accident.

oh his such a nice looking lorie, i would love to get some lories one day when i get more aviaries, but there so messy i would love to get some musks again ;D
