OMG BEL!!!!! your worse than me!!! The names are their colouring, nothing else. They are Old english game hen one is spangle in colour and one is wheaten. Pity no one sells them openly up here, I suppose if you joined the poultry club...... FORGET THAT! I'm already in the cavy club and the herp society LMAO

Looks like the spangle has his tail feathers. Other than stumpy wings which doesn't always pan out, I watch for the tail feathers growing differently to tell boy from girl.

It is definately a male. You can tell because the roosters get glossy neck feathers and feathers on the rump that are sickle shaped. The comb and wattles are also indicative of a male. I don't know how to explain it because I just know when I look at it that it is male. Also look for the sickle shaped feathers on the tail, but in old english they often take a while to develop.
