Well maybe on the weekend if I get a chance I will take some photos of the other birds but if you think I'm gunna stick my nose in the Alexandrines nestbox then you are soooo wrong. She is the sweetest avairy bird for the rest of the year and will take peanuts from you etc but come breeding season and she will surely take your nose off if you put it anywhere it is not required

haha, Ringnecks have to be one of the ugliest AND the cutest baby birds around I think. They sure have that "only a mother could love it" face don't they. Great to see them doing so well and look forward to the updates on Sundays. We have some chicks in the nest now too although probably only lutino and normals. This will be our last season with these as we will probably sell all lutino and blue birds except for our blue cock and concentrate on pastels and lacewings after this season. One lutino hen now has seven eggs of which 2 have hatched so far. I don't think I will disturb her to take photos. I will leave those up to Eagle for now as one bald baby looks much the same as another Maybe I will work up enough courage to face the fire-breathing dragon-bird ... oops I mean the alexandrine hen when she hatches her babies and get a picture. Maybe if I attach the camera to a long pole and take pot luck??? ......... Jen
