You guys are absolutely right. Helping each other out is the best way to go & aviculture will only benefit from it in the long run.
I can't tell you how many breeders we've met here who slag off other breeders. I managed to piss off a breeder down south a 2 months back YAY.... never done that before. He wants my Ekkie Pair. I aint selling them. I heard through another breed friend that this guy was saying some BOBBA about me.
Jealousy is a curse and so many people here are secretive about their success and what they do to be that way. They wont share it with no one.
I'm a member of ASA Bird Group here ( American Society of Aviculture ) and half the folk on their are forthcoming about sharing info. Others brag but shut up when asked for advice.
I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around and if you do what you can to help others out then it will come back to you. Forums like this are a great place to meet others that share the passion of raising birds & are willing to help others out.

I know when I move back to Australia I'll be doing what I can to breed the birds that I had here... I will say that I will be available to those on this forum who want to know what I do... Do me wrong though..........

Most breeders I meet are great about giving advice. I had a guy who breeds eckies, gang gangs, majors black cockies contact me for advice on breeding plumheads as his pair weren't breeding!! I was stunned, but now i knoe if i need any help he will help me out.
