;DI am very happy to say my little splay leg budgie (snail) is doing really well! he is eating well and getting his flight feathers everywhere now! I removed his splint a few days ago but had to put it back on again, Silly me had paper towel on the bottom of his box ans his little legs were slipping from under him, not enough grip for him. So his legs started to do "the splits" again! Another week he should be good. The sickness I thought he had seems to be gone. I got all the things Matt and you guys told me to, the probiotics, the electro stuff, and the poly-aid. Thanks for that. I have a sneaky suspision that the problem could have been that he had some dried food that I missed wiping off near his eyes (ooops) and it was making it hard for him to open them properly. I cleaned him up with warm water and he seems to be better.
