This is Lee, my female Mallee Ringneck that I picked up early this morning *snoore, sleepy time! LOL* she's this years bred.




I have to wait until well after breeding season is over before I can introduce her to Mal - her new husbird because apparently he is his heightened state is likely to kill or severely damage her.

This is Mal, I will introduce them around April/May through the bars of adjoining cages:

Good work Karen, we dont see them as much here in WA. Though I did see one recently paired with a wild 28 not far from here, must have originally escaped from an aviary!
