I've always had a love for the Amazons but my other half never really shared that enthusiasm. I littlerally had to draw blood to ge the whitefront pairs that we have. Anyhow. We still managed to get a pair of Red Lored Amazons as well as a rare pair of Blue Crown Mealy Amazons. They Blue Crowns are not in the best of shape but are on a better diet and will be outside tomorrow in their new flight so they should be looking better over the coming months. I've never heard an Amazon be so loud as what the female Blue Crown is. She puts Rico my B&G to shame. We also had a gorgeous double yellow head male that came from a friend of ours. We had to sell him unfortunately as at 5.45am he would start Screaming our "Juan, Juan Juan Juan" I'm the only white guy that lives on this street the rest are hispanic/mexican familys and I know that at least 2 have family members named Juan... Last thing I needed was his royal higness waking them up at that time.

Jules, Go to www.internationalparrots.com and have look through the gallery there. There is a ton of cool Amazon pics there. My favorites are the St Lucia & St Vincents & The Cuban's. Pretty much all the Carribean Island Amazons...

Oh wow the cubans are stunning. There are so many beautiful amazons I've never heard of. The doouble yellow headed in the pic between the St Lucia and the Jamaican looks very similar in colouring to a sun conure but a paler yellow.

yeah the Cuban's really are stunning. They're on the cites endangered list so any sales in California are ok but if you want to ship them out of state you need special permits. Of course people can get them out of state by driving but shhhhhh no one's mean to know lol!
