I'd like to introduce to you all Sonny. AKA Son Of A B*tch. He is such a turd of a bird. Pretty. yes. His screams are deafening & the jack a.s.s has taken to reaching through the cage wire and gripping my shirts when I'm right by his cage. And those with Macaws should know that they grip onto you with a death grip.  |

I was about to tell you to question the person who sold it you.... and rip them a new one for saying a bird that young should be on 2 feedings a day. Our pair haven't bred yet. Both are proven birds. The hen came with another male last May. She's 11 years old. We lost her mate last November. Sonny came from some good friends of ours in Visalia CA www.sncparrotdise.com They're downsizing they're aviary and are just sticking to Scarlet macaws, Hawkheads and Sun Conures. Sonny actually killed his last mate. Not directly killed her but wouldn't let out of the box to eat. This hen he is with here don't tolerate his crap. Some day I want to focus my breeding efforst to large and Mini Macaws and some smaller Amazons like the White Fronts. |

I was on the computer the other day. On my bed on the laptop with Rico on my shoulder. Bird did nothing but try to regurgitate for me. |
