I called the bird store Saturday and told them that my operation went well. They were happy to hear from me and told me about 2 caiques they got in. They are about a year old and were clutch mates. I didn't want to split them up so I bought both of them. I don't have names for them yet but I do have pictures. I got the birds and the cage for $1200.00 The one in the front is smaller and it's belly has orange mixed with the white.

Oooooh John, you're in for an awesome ride with those two. Caiques are incredible birds. Very busy, very curious and rule the house. The two white bellied babies I raised last year ruled the nursery and had to know everything that I was doing.
Good luck with them & Great Pictures.

Thanks everyone.
You are right Justin, they think the rule the roost and they are a handful. They are so much fun and they love to play hard.

Great looking birds John, I missed this post somehow. They look fantastic! I wish we had these species available here, but I suppose alot of our own birds are just as nice. Hope to see many updates on their progess as they settle in and rule the roost!

Thanks everyone. You are right Justin, they think the rule the roost and they are a handful. They are so much fun and they love to play hard. John Do they sleep on their backs John? The two I raised would play hard and then sleep hard lol. Sammy who is now living with a good friend on mine in LA would sleep on his back whilst Kyeeky would sleep on his side with his head resting on Sammy's belly. Just be careful not to touch them if their asleep. The gal who has Sammy now went to move him from his tent when he was sleeping. He wasn't responding to her voice so she reached in grabbed him and had him halfway out of the hideaway tent when he woke up and threw the hugest hissy fit. keep us posted on how they're doing
