This is my new baby Herbie, he is so gorgeous he is 4 weeks old and weighs 380g, im not sure whether thats normal. We picked him up yesterday and all last night i kept getting up to check on him. He is a really good eater and seems to have a really placid temperament. He was raised from an egg. He makes the most beautiful sounds...Im in love...   |

I know, buying him really broke the bank we sold some cockatiels and will still be broke for weeks but it was worth it.

He is so cute - I love baby eckies. I just love eckies anyway! Being 4 weeks old is he weened yet or still feeding every 4 hours???

he is feeding every 8 hours, as recommended by the breeder, if it were up to me i would be feeding him more often but i dont want to go against what the breeder has recommended as she has raised alot of eckies.
