sorry people the bloody thing just posted it self while i was still typing.
what i was saying is turvey isnt platinum therefore he is a boy. his correct colouring is pied split blue and platinum. he needs to be paired with a pied split blue hen or a blue pied and you will get pied and blue pied hens and cocks as well as platinum pieds and blue platinum pied hens. two rare mutations.

Wow ok, I can get a blue pied hen cheap from a friend. I am planning to pair with my opaline cock. I wonder how Turvey would go at breeding in a smaller cage though not an avairy of course poor little guy cant fly real well at all!! Those rare mutations sound good!! lol. I could get two pied hens probably if Turvey would be ok to breed from.

maybe slowly increase the size of the cage so the poor little tyke can get some skill. I ended up clipping my babies wings so the couldn't get the speed they were doing. It's no fun seeing a bird act like a pingpong ball in a cage!

No thats what he was like in the samllish avairy I got him form, he was still in with his parents and the poor little guy was crashing all over the place. I felt so sorry for him. Ans when the lady said I could have him for free, I jumped at saving him!! He's so cute!!!
