Finally - I got an Alex!!! He is absolutely gorgeous!!
He is about 12 months old and soooo friendly - he was very shy to start but by the time I left he was trying to stick his beak in my mouth!! I just love him!
His name is Charlie and his current mum is beside herself at having to rehome him but she is having to go away a lot for work now so can't spend the time with him that he needs.
I'm soooooo excited - couldn't wish for a better bird hey!
Friday 9th February
Well I got him today - he is just adorable. I couldn't believe it though - his old owners left, I went to put a couple things away, came back and Basil was up on top of his cage with him and they were rubbing beaks. Not a mean action came from either of them. It's like they instantly bonded - I've never experienced that before!! Anyway here are the pics - I had to include one of Saff, who is EXTREMELY put out at the moment given that she has just been dumped!!
