Its been a while so thought I would post a couple updated pics of my eckies!!

They are so cute when they are eating - at first I thought they were feeding each other, then realised they were actually stealing food from each other - and they don't just take it off the other once - it goes back and forth until most of it has fallen through the grill.

She is so big!!!! I love how bright and colourful the Eckies are I think all birds want what the other has.... My red rumps were fighting over SEED!!! Maybe if she got her butt out of the seed dish he wouldn't have been pulling her feathers and Oh boy what a noise for two birds!!! All cause they wanted the sunflower seeds in it all But she looks really cheeky in that top picture..... sigh, I want some eckies too now. So pretty

Actually Saffy is the usual size eckie - Basil is a runt so quite a bit smaller! But she is definately the bossy female in the partnership - hehe!

hehe - you have to love the petty arguments they have hey! If only our lives were that simple - that all we had to worry about was who got more sunflower seeds than me for dinner

As I sit here now they are back on top of their gym arguing over who gets to sit on what side of the bar - they both want to be on the left of each other!!!!! Its making me dizzy just watching them. Actually kinda reminds me of me and my brother and sister fighting over who got to sit in the middle of the back seat on family trips when we were younger ......!
