Yeah i was a bit stunned *L*....not to mention its very illegal to do
Anyway they are settling into the 4ft tank, a big difference from the small tank they were in. I was expecting small/medium fish....and they are anything but
With a bit of TLC they should show better colour and finnage....looking a bit poorly at present as the tank they were in was very dirty, and far too small for fish this size (around 2ft long by the look of it)

They look as if they have been raised in a pond! Most tank goldies have stumpy tails. They look very happy in their new home! (Must be cause it's clean )

They may have been pond fish at some time....she did say she had a pond at one stage so chances are they were.
Though i have had some goldies years ago, a breeding pair of faintails, that had gorgeous tails, more tail than fish actually *LOL* and they were tank raised, but they had always been in a big tanks

Update: Bubbles is now the name of the one with the growth on its side like a bubble *L*...i need 2 more names I have another goldfish, a sort of rescue from a friend who came home to find her tank leaking badly and needed to find a new home for her goldie quick. The little one is teaching the 2 big boys tant people arent so bad and that normally food arrives when a human comes to the tank *L*...and hiding is not necessary I pulled down my tank 2 days ago and did a full clean on it as one filter got jammed and the water was yuck....so while it was down i changed it around a bit, less places for the Goldies to get caught if they panic. The latest pics
