I have a bunny which has nine babies, I give her fresh vegies, grass, rabbit food, morning and afternoon. But she still seem to thin and does not have enough milk for all the babies. Considering that she does not have 9 nipples. The two babies that were born last are not really growing. I have sat down with the mum and put the babies on to drink, they suckle and try to get milk, which I think that they are. When I make mum just feed them. But they are so much smaller than all the rest. I know that the runts will be smaller. Just concerned don't want to lose any. So my question is does anyone know of anything else that I can give her to produce more milk. Any suggestion would be greatful

I am really not sure.
Just because she has nine nipples does not mean she will successfully rear 9 young. This is the case with most animals such as dogs, pigs etc. Perhaps just weakest will not make it. Keep what you are doing up! Good food and lots of care will be the key! less stress too! I hope someone else can help a little better

You can buy a mix from the other ppl by Wombaroo, pascalls? or something it's a low lactose milk fromula for babies. You can go to a really good petstore and buy feeding teats for kittens too.... I know where they all are in the store up here! Maybe try a vet, they may have those items too and just add some feeds in the day for those babies i.e go out when your free with some mix and give those 2 an extra feed and leave them with mum. It's out there! if you can't find the food try finding the wombaroo website, you may be able to buy direct (it also has a long shelf life, for when she may have more babies )
