Maybe someone might be able to answer this for me
Now i know that to compete i need a purebred dog...but does it need to have actual registration papers?
I'm interested in trialling and because Scooby is a crossbreed, i'll be looking for another dog in the future. I dont want to buy one and then find it also can't compete
Thanx

Yes as it says you can compete over here with a crossbreed as obediance and agility is the focus instead of breed standards. "Showing" of course is much more strict with purebreeds with registration papers only, and definately no sterilized dogs at all.
Does Scooby have a good nose for a scent? maybe you could train him to Track instead and help out at your local Volunteer Emergency services group. He could turn out to be a real hero!!!
