Being dog owners reading this... you'll notice how all states now have dog registration. I don't really know how much everyone pays, it's different from town to town but taking into mind how much people pay and how many dogs are in your area.....do you know what will happen if your dog does escape or get scared and run??? I've had so many dogs turn up at my house at night, with their registration tags all intact only to call council to be told "can you keep the dog for the night and call us in the morning"!!!! I don't know about you but this really ticks me off!!! I don't know what this dog is like, it's not my responsibility and I shouldn't have to ! Does your council do the same??? Maybe we should all ask! Or is it just lazy QLD's way of things So what I'm trying to get at is Please for us who find your pooch and kitty, mr minute do engraved tags for like $11.... then if I find your dog I can call you....or if it's your cat I can abuse you cause the only way I get cat's is in a trap near my birds But please think about it, we had violent storms here last night and one dog would come near you but then the thunder would rumble and it took off so fast! I've had all manner of dogs sitting at my door and only one went home because of a tag. Ok I'm over my rant now

WA only requires registration tags. I think microchipping should become mandatory - that way all lost dogs and cats can be returned home. Plus it will hopefully stop a lot of the unwanted dumping of them.

She is a beautiful little girl!! but NO Tags!! My mum has taken her to her place and will keep her if no one claims her, we have tried all we can and I dont wnat to send her to the pound as she is way too nice!!!! But the rspca and council just took my name and number, I did all I could......

Amazing Hey Nat! people pay for a dog, immunise it, desex it and look after it you'd be thinking someone would be missing her!!!
Yeah but that still doesn't help the person who finds your dog at 7pm! Up here the ranger doesn't work weekends or after hours apparantly!

oh well natenla think of it this way if no one claims her you scored a purbeed staffy for free.. At eh moment staffys with no papers are 400 or with papers they range between 600 - 900. Great little score but it is a shame there is no one to claim her. And if she is not desexed you just find a nice male and have little cute puppies and flog em for 400. LOL

hehehe Well no one has claimed the little girl still!! I have no idea where she came from but my mum is keeping her which is good. My little brother adores her ans she adores him to!! I would have loved to keep her for myself but my male staff is a cranky old boy that doesnt like any other dogs. I think she could be desexed already we noticed a scare on her belly in the same spot as a desexing scar usually is but no tattoo in her ear? do all states do the tatt thing in the ears or not?
