Hi All, I was told by my boyfriend.. (not a really reliable source... ) that the different colour/mutations of cockatiels was a helper in indicating their dispositions. He said the normal grey ones are more aggressive than lighter colour birds Is that true? or is he full of ...

Hi ya That's pretty much like saying Blonde haired kids behave better than brown haired. Not true, like all people birds have different personalities. They also behave differently for different people.

I would say it depends more on the handraiser and how much time you spend with them. I have never known colour to be a factor at all and I have known all colours to make brillant pets.

they had some cockatiels when growing up... he's still stubbornly believes the grey ones are more grumpy silly male.. hahahah
