Congrats Nat!!!! It's a great sense of accomplishment isn't it? We take these fragile little critters and care for nurturingly ( is that even a word? ??) guide them to be great pets. They look great. Now the hard part is selling them. Hope you're not too attached! Awesome Stuff Justin

Congrats Nat! You have done a great job there they look so good. I wish my pair would lay fertile eggs so I can try handraising one! Apparently they make the best pets and are so tame, did you find that?

I have one sold already when he was only about 4 weeks old! Just gotta let the lady know he is ready. I thought I had another sold but the guy has dropped off the face of the earth all of a sudden after saying he willput a deposit down!?!? And I definatly have a favourite I don't know if he will be going anywhere!! LOL! Yes Matt Kakariki make brilliant pets even not handraised cause they are naturally friendly and curious birds. My untame male breeder will come and sit on you if you enter the aviary! and eats from your hand. And the untame babies will come and land on or play with your toes ect. Mark, My pair are on eggs again so if they hatch any cinnamon hens I will let you know, it's a BIG possibilty cause they have produced heaps already ;D
