Chooks..... not the smartest animals ever! lol But still lots of fun. Where did you get them from Bel? They look very healthy! It's amazing the difference in the egg, when you let them free range and eat lots of grass and food scraps! It tastes 100 times better! and looks better too. Our chooks yolks are so much brighter than any from the shops!

haha - yes - they are a little bit special aren't they!! I could watch them for hours though - sounds silly - but I love watching them scratch around the ground!! I got my girls from City Farmers in O'Connor for about $6.00 each I think it was. I went in there for a look around and they have quite a few animals for sale in there actually - I was surprised. I have to say they are definately healthier looking, etc than my other 2 girls .... they were from an Isa farm in Baldivis and cost me $25.00 each at 18 weeks old. Hmmmmmm Anyway I love them all the same - can't wait until I have the new pen up and running and they can all go in together! We are currently having supervised dinner time with everyone together and it seems fine. Actually the ducks are rather protective of these little ones from the older ones - cute!
