Are you sure you didn't buy that egg Amanda? Jokes, glad they are laying, I remember them as tiny little balls of fluff!! Was it from the black or the red?

I honestly don't know! We let them out this afternoon and we opened the door to turf them back in and there was this egg! Going to have to go out there and check regularly now... I'd say it was the red though cause she is just that little bit bigger and older. So chuffed! Will get a pic of them all grown up for you tomorrow but for now this is them when they were bubbies the first day I got them it's a hard life getting bigger still Roosting in my hand henny penny, these were taken before they were kicked out for escaping their home! in their new home!

They are great pets! They all have their own personality, and are not as stupid as some people may think they are!

Congratulations Amanda - I remember when I first got my 3 and they laid their first egg - my whole family were waiting in anticipation for the 'first egg'! I had that egg and my first home grown mushroom for dinner that night - hehe!
Now I get 3 eggs a day so its not as exciting anymore - I can't eat that many eggs. Lucky my eckies love them!
