;DI turned an old lowboy cupboard into a cage for my finches yesterday, Hre are some pics of the finished job!! I think it turned out great!(even if do say so myself) LOL Now to get another pair to fill it up a bit,hehehe

Very nice! You know if you find another one you can make a guinea pig hutch....LOL that's what I wanted to do but couldn't find a cheap cupboard. It does make a very elegant cage with the fancy feet. Well done

Hey Peter - in the quokka online someone was selling 15 banks of rabbit/chook cages - and I think there was about 8 cages per bank for about $75 each in Canningvale. That may be an option for you??
