Well one Saturday night while Mum and Dad are away I go out and get home at 2.30am Sunday morning...I hear voices in the paddock and know Peter and his friends are carrying on up the back....off to bed I go. In the morning I find this......... Can someone please tell me what kind of people "borrow" a billy goat from neighbours at 3 am?

i thought you were going to come and plat his hair! he came from a property that catches wild ones from up north, brings them down here, fattens them up and.................. god knows why they would want a stinky old billy to eat. trust me, there is so many in the paddock they wouldn't notice him gone. but he is going back this weekend if all goes to plan. operation goat drop

You know that comes under the cattle rustling laws don't you!... didn't that used to be a hanging offence? Well Ned Kelly I hope he doesn't know what his future holds or you just might find he doesn't want to leave. We used to do a bit of goat shooting in Kalgoorlie but we only took young nannys (hind quarters for us and the rest for the dogs. Never ever did we bother with the Billys because even the dogs wouldn't eat them. They are pretty putrid. You better drench all your goats too 'cause they could end up with worms although I must admit that surprisingly the ones we used to get never seemed to have them. (we used to do thorough disections to make sure they were healthy before eating) PS... Rob and I laughed our heads off picturing the kidnap...billy-napping episode. Pity you didn't get it on video Matt. You coulda made some money on funniest home videos.

Yeah I can imagine how quiet they would have been....NOT. I am surprised they werent shot....oh well it was only a borrowed goat, nothing long term....LOL. We do drench them all and they have recently had thier five in one shots too so should be all good hopefully.
