He has no name & lives alone but he seems content. He's pretty nosey too. I keep him in a heated bowl. The bowl is pretty big but I wouldn't mind sometime getting a bigger tank & putting in other stuff too.

I have a little man on the coffee table, he has no name either and his tank is bare cause his plant died but he is so social! comes over and says howdy to everyone. fighters can be little characters too.

Peter has some fighters one male and four females if I remember correctly, he will no doubt post pictures soon. I think they are great and the range of colours is amazing.

Is it true they're only suposed to live about 2 years? Mine is coming upp 2 years soon & I'd rather he lived longer!!

Apparantly but they can live for longer. Like saying a dog lives to 15 years, it's just really an average. If their house and their health is pristine then they should live a bit longer. I've personally had one for almost 3 years and one of my boys was mature when we got him (He was huge!) and we have had him for 2 years this january.

I don't even know how old mine was when I got him. I think he was young though
