well little renos been leaving me nice little presents here and there and i need to know how to get him to crap in one place. anyone know?

Take him outside every so often when he will need to go and wait for him to go on the lawn. Praise him alot when he does. It really boils down to ready your dog. watch him to see how he acts before he goes, if he is smelling the ground/squatting. grab him quickly and run outside. soon he will only go outside (or at least thats what happened with our dogs) and they start to bark at the door when they need to go.

I agree with Peter. To toilet train a dog, you first have to train yourself to stay one step ahead of them, get to know the signs that they are about to do something and quickly get them to where you want them to toilet and add lots of praise and maybe a treat when they get it right. I always take them to the spot after meals too.

update* he seems to enjoy crappin on grass... so what did i do? since his gona be a guard dog.. i cut out a peice of turf and put it in a cat litter tray.. he craps there now lol
