Well me and Scooby Doo went back to obedience classes tonight, after a 2yr break, and he was brilliant, a bit excited to see all the other dogs, but behaved himself so well.
We had to go back to level 2 cause he had so long off, but i don't think he'll have a problem passing at the next testing day to go to level 3 (he was level 4 prior to him getting sick and me having an operation filled 6months)
Once he settles back into it, the instructors will help me out with how i go about competing....i can't wait *L*
I'm so proud of my boy!

Thanx Silvercloud.
I think he will be too. Cheaper rego for him too if he passes the council test *L* But even if we don't, we both enjoy the outing and being able to chat with other dog people

I'll keep ya updated on his progress. This Tuesday i think it is all the dogs get to show off their tricks they know *L*....that should be interesting (i can almost hear Scoob going gawd she'll see something she'll want me to learn...horrors ) I believe it should be compulsary for all dog owners to put their dog through obedience classes...save a lot of uncontrollable dogs ending up in rescue...but thats just me i spose *L*

I totally agree with you!! It frustrates me seeing people walking a big or even sometimes small dog and they have no control over it! I feel like grabbingt hem and saying give me that dog and I will train it so its not draging you everywhere!! It is so dangerous! And they dont realise how dangerous it can be

What a good boy!!! I'd love to take my girl to obedience classes but I know she would just rip apart the other dogs. She is so well behaved does anything I tell her to and is great to walk until she spots another dog and its like she has no idea im even there and no matter how much I yell and tell her to sit she just goes into kill mode. Last time I took her for a walk she ended up trying to kill a male staffy. I'm just lucky the owner was so understanding. I now muzzle her in public but she still gets so angry. I don't know what to do.
