I didn't think I'd ever get another friend for Larry despite looking (halfheartedly). I received an email with a couple of leads the other day and called a breeder at Clontarf out of the blue. Turns out he had a single girl that he was looking for a cock bird for. He had no intention of selling her as she was the bird he kept for himself out of the clutch. Well, I found out if you offer someone enough money they will sell! I offered twice the going rate for her and after a couple of days he phoned me back and accepted! I picked her up yesterday (3.5hr round trip). She is about 4 months old and by herself since fledging (no quarantine!). I put her in with the other rosella's and removed the peach faces for the safety of the rosella's.

Larry has barely looked at her. I sure hope his attitude changes come breeding season!
The peachies were Ned & Stacey (fisher X peachie) and they are a little psycho! Couldn't chance finding a hurt rosella.
