I was thinking of contacting you to day Bubbles about her but on the other hand i dont like to get people to break up pairs there selling as its easier to sell a pair than it is to sell 1 bird !!!!
Well ill just have to keep looking !!!

mark are the 28's big birds? I've seen them over here but it's a been a while and with all these screaming hormonal birds over here my mind is shot...
What other birds would compare them to size wise?
Great looking birds. Australia really does have some gorgeous birds

Mark you hit the jackpot there for pure 28's! They look great, good luck breeding them and finding a mate for the spare cock.

Sometimes the hens wont show wing spots. There was an article about it in talking birds last month.

Normally you can tell by the wingspots but I would get them sexed just to be on the safe side, as you dont want to waste time with two hens or two cocks trying to breed!

Hmm, Mark 28's can be so hard to sex sometimes, usually males have a broader beak and larger head. The wing stripe or spotting can be reliable but not always, the safest way is to send off some feathers or get them surgically sexed unfortunately.
