We have several of the mutations here, Cinnamon, Turquoise, Cinnamom Turquoise, Pineapples, Yellow sided. They're working with some cool mutations over here too like Turquoise Pineapples & Turquoise Yellow Sideds.

Justin the prob with him getting Hahns Macaws is there still $6000 a pair over here for a young pair But when he does i know breeders who produce up to 15 young in a season out of 1 pair !!!!
So it wont take time for the price to drop !

That's crazy lol.I prefer to get around 6 - 8 babies a pair each year. My guys would go 3 - 4 clutches if I let them.

They're actually noiser than our all our Amazon & Caique pairs put together. One pair by themselves though shouldn't be too loud. They do prefer privacy and have a tendancy to be a lot louder when they know I'm out in the yard.

yeah i was thinking if they like privacy and being in the forest canopy i might as well put em under the apple tree right at the back of the yard. where no man goes.. except for me of course!

I'd go suspensions with lorikeets... They are pretty amazing birds.....awesome personality.. They are still noisy.....but not as bad as the Macs.... I feel the problem of having such a exspensive bird here is youve got to be concerned about it being knocked off..... Below is a pic of a awesome lorikeet mutation..

lol unfortunatly. i cant fork out 3 grand on a fallow keet at the moment.. maybe so maybe getting a split lutino split bluefront cock over a blue front hen would be good. i had spent $3500 worth on lutino and split princess parrots and lost them all to inexperience... so ill be pretty angry if another expensive bird gets knocked off

Slowing working your way up to bigger birds. When we started with the bigger birds back in late2000 early 01, we had plenty of COckatiels. Nowadays I use the tiels to cover feed bills etc. 90% of the birds we have here have come from the Money we've gotten from selling babies over the years. Like Renee mentioned... if you got expensive birds, it's probably not wise to let people know what you got.
