ok guys! well i gave my conure a shower (1st time since the hypothermia) to clean away all the muck under her chin and found where her crop was, lots of hard white stuff wich i thort was just food clunpped 2 her feathers! i took a close look @ it and found its actualy inside the crop and i think this may be whats stopping her from eatting! its very hard! not the least bit mushy! and it hasnt been going down! im not sure if this is a fungle infection or sour crop (coz iv never seen either) but iv just 2day started her on anti crop fugle tablets wich i had got from a vet for my old bird ollie (wich died from a funle infection) do you guys think this is a good idea or not? my vet advised me while i was treating ollie to give the med 2 all my other birds just in case so im guessing its not harmfull! but should i stop giving the polly aid or do you think that would be ok with the fungle meds?

if you aren't sure what is wrong with your conure i wouldn't be giving it the tablets i'd be taking it straight to a good reliable avain vet, i named 2 that have been here in Perth for quite a long time they would be the best to see. i'd be wanting a proper diagnosis before giving the tabs in case it's something else and it just gets worse.

It doesn't sound very good, but then im not a vet. I would recommend as birdz said and take your little sunny to a bird vet. Let us know what happends and what they say -hugs- all the best hon.
