Hi Everyone,
I just want to share some good news! Last week I was super worried because Martin was developing a bad habit of chewing/biting at his toes. He didn't have fleas, but I didn't know what was causing the behavior since he was beginning to get swells and sores all over his poor little feet due to the chewing.
I ended up taking Martin to the vet last week and the diagnosis wasn't far off what some of my friends have been suggesting; Martin just need more entertainment. The vet said the chewing/biting could have started off as a reaction to a bite but the habit formed because of lack of stimulation. I have worked out with other members of my family to be around more and walk/run him as often as we can. So far, everything is working out pretty well! I hope they will continue as such.
Thanks for all your help and feedback!
June & Martin

Glad to hear Martin is doing better and nothing serious was going on! One of our chi boys in the past was a paw licker who stained his fur , and all out of boredom..lol
