We had another spider and a couple of scorpions arrive at the shop 2 days ago. BIG Bertha, as she is affectionately known as, (and who wouldn't want to keep on her good side? lol) is around 14 cm in size. I can't remember what breed of Tarantual she is, will find out though. The scorps are Flinders Range, that I remembered lol. Here is BIG Bertha...... Checking out her new surroundingsHaving dinner.......travelling does make ya hungry!Night night all.The scorps..... Hunting for dinner....hunting.....Ahhhh found it! ......and one for the doggie bag."Oh, well hello there you fine looking specimen, oops, oh how embarrassing, it's my own reflection!"

Great pics Tasha. Thanks for sharing, I wish I didn't have too many animals already or I would be keeping inverts too!

It's weired, seems the bigger the spider the more I like them. I can handle huntsman and daddy long legs, but those tiny whitetip spiders.....*shudders*. I think it is more so with them from the rotting flesh type wounds that they seem to cause.
