Well the season is off to a good start for us we have plenty of birds on eggs and babys This is just a few pics of wat my wife is hand raising at the moment As each week passes we pull more babys from Jason's and our birds to hand raise Please if you are after somthing or see somthing you like just let me know This is a pic of the Equiptment we use for Hand Raising The 3 on the Left are Brooders The 2 on the Right are weaning cages (mainly used for lorikeets as theis so messy) These are the babys in the brooders at the moment In 1 of the small tubs are 2 of my Normal Rainbow babys In the other are Jasons Greencheeks (2 x Pineapple 2 x Normal possable split depending on the sex of them) I this tub we have a Dilute , Mustard & Blue Fronted Rainbow babys and a baby Blur Ringneck This is my first clutch of Greencheeks 2 x Normal Double Split Cocks and a Pineapple hen + 1 Maroonbellie Conure This is one side of the weaning cage for the seed eaters i has 2 x Sun Conures and a Cockatiel This Side has a almost weaned ECCY Hen These are almost weaned and need to be sexed My firse Musk Lorikeet baby and it an OLIVE + 3 x Scailys ( 1 x Lutino 1 x if cock Split Lutino and 1 x Normal from Michelle & Waynes)

You certainly had something good in the water there lol They all look adorable. The different rainbow lorries look wonderful together.

I have to admit most or the results we get are soley because of the time and effort my wife Yvone puts in to them
We also picked up today 3 more Greencheeks (2 x Pineapples) and 1 Nanday Conur from Jasons & a friend around the corner just droped off 2 Normal Rainmow Lorikeets

I'd love to but then I'd have to find somewhere else to live.... folks don't like lorikeets and it seems I'm already treading on thin ice ATM with the pets I already have. That and I only earn about $200 a week and I don't think I'd find a free board home anytime soon! Heck they won't let me have another canary!!!!!!

We also just had 3 Ringnecks arrive (2 Greys 1 BLue) for a couple of days while a good friend went away

Doing a great job there. Well done Yvonne. I have been lucky so far as Holly has sved me from having to hand raise this year so far. I really don't feel like doing it at the moment. It is bad enough having to clean up after a puppy and all the baby chickens. I just got one lot of chicks moved outside and the eggs in the incubator are cheaping at me today so more on the way. I hate the mess and smell that you have to be constantly on top of.
I also love the picture of the different lories. Please excuse my ignorance but I have never heard a bird described as a pineapple though, is that the proper name? Its very cute. dont know much about conures I'm afraid. Good luck with all your babies. jen

Hi Jen A Pineapple Greencheek Conure is a Cinnamon Yellow-sided The first person who bred it named it so and it has stuck this is the Original pic of where the name came from This is another one The Rubino Eastern Rosella the correct name for it is a Lutino Opaline

I really don't feel like doing it at the moment. lol you know im always willing to im a complete sucker for baby birds and you know it, i mean c`mon! i even got a loan from cashies with the help of every single one of my DVD's, my TV and DVD player JUST to come down and get them! lol Im looking forward to getting those moustache's, be great to do something new, in the future i wonna do lories, kaks and start looking at cockies aswell.... my mums gonna kick me out soon hahaha! the main games room is pretty much a bird room now lol Also those babies are ADDORIBLE!! your wifes doing a fantastic job, i dont have enough time for THAT many babies at the moment and i can only imagine how hard and time consuming that would be! well done!! That dilute lorie is a little stunner! i really really wonna raise one of them, dont know anyone that breeds them ova here tho im also SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO extreamly jelouse that your raising green cheeks!! specially the pinaple! i want them soo badly but we cant have them here!!! I wonna move over east simply so i can look at one day breeding all the conures, mini macaws, caiques and amazons! ... one day! Ill make sure when i move ova there 2 buy a couple green cheeks off u! i cant wait till the day im there!
